Say what we do not do
No hosted inference, so no token billing. Chromium-only, so no pretending Firefox support is equivalent. Experimental sign-ins are labelled experimental. The limits of each thing are on the page, not in the small print.
Pharmalite started as a study-material and job-listing site for pharmacy students. It became a tools company when we noticed that the useful thing to build was not a chatbot answering questions, but software that operates the tools you already use.
Built on the observation that the people searching for drug information at 2am were getting scattered, unverified answers. That gap became the whole direction.
Aimed specifically at pharmacy and medical students. It worked, but the model behind it could not keep pace with changing guidance, and a confidently wrong answer about a drug is worse than no answer. We retired it rather than let it mislead.
A change of approach. Instead of a chatbot that answers questions about a topic, an agent that operates the software you already use. It reads the tab you are on and does the work, on your own API key, with no token markup.
Three commitments that decide what we build and, more often, what we refuse to.
No hosted inference, so no token billing. Chromium-only, so no pretending Firefox support is equivalent. Experimental sign-ins are labelled experimental. The limits of each thing are on the page, not in the small print.
Requests go from your browser to your model provider. We are not in the path, which is why we cannot claim to moderate what happens inside the tool.
If TabDriver breaks, tell us and we will fix it or refund you. Most disputes are resolved by a reply, not by a policy clause.
We are a small team and we answer our own email. If you want to build something together, report a bug that deserves attention, or tell us a tool you need does not exist, we want to hear it.
